In addition to the SLEF website the Forum has several online social media channels on the web.

As of July 2026 we have almost 700 'followers' on the channel and we encourage you to follow us too.

The page is regularly updated with news, articles, events and topics of interest in Skye and Lochalsh as well as further afield. The channel covers videos and presentations on a wide range of topics including marine life, invasive species and the amazing biodiversity of our area.

Long-standing and highly acclaimed SLEF trustee James Merryweather has spent a lifetime studying our precious environment and biodiversity  and runs the YouTube 'Auchtertyre Academy' channel.
