Skye, Lochalsh & Lochaber Mini Bird Conference

Skye-birds.com and the Scottish Ornithologists Club are co-organising this event to be held at Sabhal Mor Ostaig college near Armadale on the Saturday, followed by field excursions on the Sunday. An excellent line-up of speakers will present talks covering various local species including Golden and White-tailed Eagles and Corncrakes, as well as Manx Shearwaters on Rum; also talks on birds surveys from a local and national perspective, and Gaelic names of birds. Speakers include Kate Nellist, Shelagh Parlane, Bob Swann, Tristan ap Rheinhalt, Brian Neath, Mike Werndly & Martin Carty, and John Love.
